Hatcher's seat at Marma's Tea Party

We visited Marma and P'bo this past weekend and let the boys (mainly Hatcher) run a muck of the joint. Hatcher made P'Bo get all the toys out to play including this little tea set. While on previous sleepovers at Marma's house they have enjoyed an occasional tea party. The best part of the whole charade, besides the fact that Hatcher requests the use of real "tea," is that he sits on this teeny tiny chair. Derek got a great close-up of him actually balancing comfortably on this miniature chair. Kids...they are FULL of entertainment. Tea anyone?

Aidan is 7 Months Old

It is hard to believe that Aidan is already 7 months old. He is sitting up so well and now reaches up with arms wide open when he wants to be held, or kissed. He absolutely loves Hatcher and lights up when he is in the room. He has two bottom teeth now and working on the third...drooling as much as ever. I have added a couple of pictures of Hatcher at 7 months to compare the two boys. There are some similarities for sure. Man - they are so much fun.

Happy 84th Birthday Nana

Derek's grandmother, Nana, celebrated her 84th birthday on Feb 15 and we drove to SC to help her celebrate the momentous occassion. Marma, P'Bo, Elizabeth, her dog Mr. Grigsby, and we were all there for the fun. She looked great and was so glad we all came. Happy Birthday Nana!

My two Valentines!

This Valentines Day the boys and I celebrated together while Daddy was on a business trip. We took these photos that we shared with Derek (hence the red "My Dad Rocks" t-shirt) over email. Hope everyone had a lovely Valentines Day!

Trip to the Zoo

With the weather being very spring-like yesterday (and today), upon Derek's suggestion, we took the boys to the Atlanta Zoo. It was a first for them both. We thought Hatcher would have enjoyed more of the animals...but he really didn't care for the gorillas, monkeys, bears or the lions. I think he liked the birds the best. Needless to say as you will see in the photos, he wanted to be on Daddy's shoulders almost the whole time. Aidan slept for much of it, ironically only waking up when Hatcher wanted to ride the carousel.

the Ladies Man

Hey ladies...hey ladies!
Don't you just want to eat this little guy up with a spoon? Man do they ever grow so fast. The big boy is sitting up and loves to stand, with assistance of course. Hatcher loves to "take Aidan for a walk" - where they hold hands and we prevent Hatcher from dragging him along! Too cute. I will try to get that on video!

Hatcher's Birthday Party

We had a small birthday party for Hatcher this weekend and it was so much fun. He got so many wonderful presents and had a great time playing with Madison, our neighbor, who is also turning two in a couple of weeks. The two of them enjoyed cake, games, some t-ball, and playing with Madison's baby doll. We should get the two of them together more often...Hatcher and Madison wore each other out. Hatcher got some wonderful new toys and loves all of them. Aidan on the other hand didn't have such a good day. He was very clingy and fussy...and now we know why. He got his second tooth! Busy boys!
