Happy Thanksgiving

What a beautiful - perfect fall day. A wonderful Thanksgiving day. We hosted Marma, P'Bo, Uncle Jared and Aunt Christina for a great Thanksgiving feast. Uncle Ben popped by on his way to his celebration with friends - but really only to say hello and wish everyone a special day. Derek made an amazing turkey again this year...he tried a brining technique for the first time that tasted delicious. The kids helped us prepare all the food this morning, even the apple pie and had so much fun. Aidan kept referring to the day as a "party". All in all it was just a perfect day to remind us all what today is all about - giving thanks.

I am thankful for a wonderful family, two amazing and healthy boys, a loving and caring husband and best friend...I am thankful for fabulous friends and family who are an extension of our clan and enrich our lives each and every day. I am thankful that we are all healthy, happy and safe...really - what more can anyone ask for.
